Teel, one of the top players in the Southeast, is married to Jane.
With 12000+ masterpoints, he represented the U.S. in the 1978 World
Olympiad and was a member of the winning squad in the Alabama-Auburn

Chris Moll is a professional
player who many recognize for his always-willing-to-help attitude.
He is married to Carla (formerly Skeen from Jefferson City) and
you will see him working with her supervising caddies at the Gatlinburg
Regional. Chris also is a former president of District 10, and he
serves on the National Appeals Committee. He has scores of regional
and sectional victories.

Chuck Whidden's list of people who
consider him a favorite partner is unlimited. He is complimentary
and easy-going at the bridge table and he rarely makes mistakes.
He is married to Kathy, the red-headed director with the friendly
attitude and the beautiful smile. Chuck has more than 5000 masterpoints.
He has been the Mid-Atlantic's one and only Webmaster.

the finest players inTennessee. His name is among the masterpoint
leaders every year at the Gatlinburg Regional. He has more than
7500 points and more than 50 regional wins.

Shannon Cappelletti, formerly Shannon
Lipscomb, won the Junior Player of the Year award for 1995, becoming
just the second woman to win this award. She now holds a national
title and is one of the most popular players on the tournament
circuit. Her husband, Mike Jr., says "Shannon has a natural
feel for the game and won't be intimidated by anybody. That's
a good combination." She has over 6200 points.

Hollingsworth is retired and loves to hike, golf, and square dance.
He has about 7500 points with 44 Blue Ribbona and 2 Silver Ribbon
qualifications. He is in the South Carolina Hall of Fame. Wayne is
easy to play with and has loved the game since he learned it. He began
by being a tournament chess player in high school. |

Richard Brown is truly a big man.
Easy-going, soft-spoken and an excellent player and teacher, Richard
has played since the mid to late '70s and met his wife, Shirley,
playing bridge. He has over 6500 points and more than 40 Regional
wins. He, too, is in the South Carolina Hall of Fame.

Heller is known to many as the District 7 editor of the district publication
and Tournament Coordinator. He is a former Mid-Atlantic president
and has been MABC publicity coordinator for several years. He'll hit
the 6000 masterpoint total this year and has more than 40 Blue Ribbon
qualifiers. He represented District 7 in the North American Pairs
twice in past years. |

Barbara Heller

Barbara Heller (a former Gatlinburg
Regional tournament chair with Marlene from 1987-1992 when she
moved from Knoxville to Atlanta after marrying Bob Heller) has
over 5000 points and approximately 40 Blue Ribbon qualifiers.
Her "glass is half-full" approach to the game allows
for a fun time. She represented District 7 last year in the North
American Open Pairs in Houston. She is currently District 7 Vice-President,
is a former Mid-Atlantic president, and is co-chair of the 2005
Atlanta NABC.

Michael
White is a recent member of the 10000 masterpoint club, and at age
39, he is one of the youngest. A Georgia Tech alumnus, Michael plays
bridge professionally, and he has scores of regional and sectional
victories.. Michael has also has been one of the youngest members
of the National Appeals Committee. |

Spike
Lay is a well-known tournament player throughout the Southeast and
has been active as both a club director and tournament chair in northeastern
Florida. He has scores of regional and sectional victories. His best
finish in a national was 2nd in the
NABC IMP PAIRS in San Antonio in 1999. He has been on the TOP 500
since giving up his day job - CPA in Chattanooga - and moved to Florida
and is about 20 points away from reaching the 10000 masterpoint level. |

Mike
is one of the leading players in Unit 165. He rarely travels to regionals
and sectionals outside of his unit but is always on the top list of
players whenever a local tournament is held. He has been a mentor
to many at the table. In fact, Barbara Heller (listed above) credits
Mike with much of what she knows about strategies at the table and
overall approach to the game. Playing with Mike is always fun and
exciting. |

recently. Many of you know him for his soft-spoken manner as he sells
his books. He led all District 7 Life Masters with 577 masterpoints

Mignocchi
Bronx, New York
Kent has donated
his time for the "Eastern States Regional" in NY over Memorial

Kent Mignocchi,
24, started playing bridge at the age of 10. His grandmother took
him along to tournaments as a caddy until young Mignocchi decided
he wanted to play himself. He began in a game for players with zero
master points and won his first event. He never caddied again and
went on to win numerous regional bridge events as a teenager and the
World Junior Team Championship in 2001. Mignocchi graduated from Riverdale
Country School and went on to Occidental College in Los Angeles County,
though he now is pursuing a career as one of the country's youngest
professional bridge players. |

and Linda Smith

Ron and Linda have donated their time for an
event to be arranged with them in an upcoming Atlanta sectional or

Patty has become
one of the most respected players and teachers in all of District

and won an NABC championship with Kevin Collins in the North American
Pairs in 2000. |

Wilson

Kevin has donated his time for a weekend two-session
event in Gatlinburg. He prefers Saturday but another day might be
arranged. |
Kevin Wilson
is a good-looking youthful player who loves to play bridge and to
promote the game. He won a Bronze medal at the World Junior Championships
in 1993 in Denmark. He also has over 40 regional wins. |
Ann
Reese

Ann has donated her time for the Saturday afternoon
session of the July Atlanta sectional. |
Ann
has over 8300 points most of which were earned before 1995. She has
only played locally in District 7 in the past few years but has continued
to teach new players the wonderful game. Many of you know Ann as the
lady with the books at the Atlanta Regional. |
