STAC
BridgeAtSchools, Inc. is sponsoring
a STAC as a fund raiser. . .
(Special note to clubs in District 7 -- we are aware
of a ACBL District wide Charity game for Wednesday, September 24th. It
will be your option as to which game you choose to participate in on that
day.)
INVITATION
BRIDGEATSCHOOLS SECTIONAL TOURNAMENT AT CLUBS
SEPTEMBER 22-28, 2003
Dear Club Manager,
BridgeAtSchools, a 501(3)c nonprofit school bridge organization invites you to participate in its fund raiser. This silverpoint bonanza begins on Monday September 22 and continues through Sunday September 28.
We look forward to welcoming your club and
your players to this STaC.
Each pair session of this tournament is a distinct event, with its own
overall awards across all of the clubs participating in that session.
All pair sessions are stratified A=1000+, B=300-1000, C=0-300.
Because as many clubs participate, the first overall awards for many pair games will reach 15 to 20 masterpoints, first overall for B often will be greater than 10 points, and for C greater than 5 points. There really is a good chance for your players to earn a bushel of silver points.
We urge you to include your regular novice an intermediate games as part of this tournament. These players appreciate being part of the event. Any regularly scheduled limited masterpoint session that your club holds may become a part of the STaC.
Barbara Heller is the Tournament Chairman
for this year's STaC. I will be the Coordinator and Director-in-Charge.
